On January 27, 1979, a group of 35 Seventh-day Adventists formed a company at Yorkgate Community Centre. They were drawn from the Willowdale, Perth, Toronto West and Kingsview Village Seventh-day Adventist Churches. These faith filled believers called themselves the Downsview Seventh-day Adventist Church and started their spiritual journey. Along the way we were led be many pastors and met a various places of worship in the the Downsview area.
God was always leading this congregation and through Him we have accomplished much. We aquired our own property and constructed a beautiful church building. More importantly He has given us the spirit of evangelism. Hundreds have come to know the joy of salvation through the various ministries of our church, personal witnessing, and evanglistic series. To God be the Glory!
