A Walk With God

God and I are taking a walk today–I have a lot on my mind.

He and I have taken many walks. And today, like every day, He’s waiting for me. Even on the days it’s raining, snowing, or really cold, He waits for me, just hoping I’ll show up to talk with Him.

Sometimes I don’t show up. But what’s so incredible is that He’s always there waiting for me. And He tells me every time I see Him that He won’t leave, even at times when I’ve gotten upset and blamed Him for some of the rough spots in my life.

I see His eyes light up and a huge grin spread across His face as soon as He sees me walking down the little pathway that leads to a small field where we talk. There we’ve cried together, laughed together, and even just sat in silence a few times.
